Robert Marlowe is a wealthy sharp-tongued politician with
an unconventional private life.

 

When a tryst goes horribly wrong, his bodyguard offers to
extricate Marlowe from the consequences - but things don’t
work out as he expects. A horrifying murder twists the plot in
ways an audience cannot possibly anticipate, as this noir-inspired drama hurtles towards the gates of hell.

Based on the successful stage thriller, DEADLOCK, which
starred the late Simon Ward, this is a daring adaptation for
the screen in which the theatricality of the original is
embraced - the claustrophobic atmosphere intensifying a
narrative which begins as black comedy but gradually
develops into an exploration of psychological terror.
