We are delighted that ‘Music Man’ David Stanley
BEM will be presenting brass band ‘blasts from the past’. The Men Behind The Brass is a profile of the Southend Salvation Army Band during the winter months of 1964, playing and talking about their love of brass band music. The film includes many shots of Southend in the early 60s. This will be supported by a full programme of brass band music from the White Bus Archive, including Grimethorpe Colliery band, newsreel footage, a Hoffnung cartoon and the award winning Music Is Magic at the Royal Albert Hall.
Something for everyone who loves brass band music.

Fast forward 30 years and Buster starred in ‘Once Upon a Time’, a most enjoyable
episode of The Twilight Zone TV series.
Our show will also feature Keaton rarities, including commercials and stunts.

This 17-minute feature was the final film of my 2-year course at the London Film School. It is based on my lead actor's character, experiencing racial discrimination, and incorporates improvised dialogue. It has already won 10 awards at Film Festivals across the world, including "Best Film" at the Colchester Indie Short Film Festival 2024.

Completed in August 2022 this is the fourth of 4 films by Steve and Christina about Autism and ADHD, both of whom are on the Autism spectrum, but not diagnosed until adults. Their mission is to increase awareness of Autism and ADHD, particularly amongst women and girls. The 4 films have received 80 awards at Film Festivals throughout the world. This film has won 14 Film Festival Awards from across the world.

John Adams talks about his life working with mixed media.
