sunday films and other events & screenings...

Starting September 2024, a new series of Film Sundays at the Palace Theatre.

With a full day of film, including relaxed screenings for babies and toddlers and dementia friendly screenings, there is something to suit everyone.  So why not join us in our relaxed, family friendly atmosphere at the Palace Theatre.

RELAXED SCREENINGS

Relaxed screenings and performances are intended to make coming to the theatre more accessible, meaning we do not worry about noise level during the screening, customers are free to move between the auditorium and our foyer spaces. Doors remain open and lighting in the auditorium is kept on.  There will be a buggy park, a ‘chill out’ zone and refreshments available.

Relaxed screenings are ideal for those with learning and sensory disabilities, children, and young people together with their families, and adults with SEN or additional needs.  Baby and Toddler Friendly screenings will include well-loved children's films whilst the Dementia Friendly screenings bring back happy memories with classic old favourites.
